This persisted for my whole 15-20 minute ride. When I got home I turned the car off and on again, still persisted. The features were all working up to 30 minutes before the errors.

DonJuan1Jr. Nope duslider is correct, the clock spring connects steering electronics to the steering column control module. So when the clock spring goes bad, you have an aibag light, no horn and the steering wheel buttons do not light up. I had the clockspring replaced and it didn't fix the problem. Any other suggestions.

As the title says the cruise control is not working, the cruise light comes on but no workee workee after pressing the the set button. I have followed the steps according the the owners manual. Any sugestions would be great. This happened on my mk4 gti when I was on a road trip.
